WOLVES OF YELLOWSTONE, 2005

WOLVES OF YELLOWSTONE, 2005
by Dr. Jim Halfpenny

There are at least 236 wolves in 30 packs and groups roaming the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. How can you keep track of them - GET YOUR SCORECARD! The color-coded system tracks the geneology of wolves and relationships between packs. Each known wolf is represented and radio-collared wolves(numbered) are shown. A map of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem shows the location of each wolf pack or group. The chart represents the biological success of the preceeding year by showing those wolves that have survived since last year's pup season.

Each four-color chart is laminated in a protective plastic sheet for improved clarity and field use.
